What We Do

Our Mandate

To fulfill our mandate, “to support Veterans and their families in our community,” we focus on:

  • Giving back to our Veterans through financial and emotional support. You do not need to be a Legion member to access our Support for Veterans.
  • Supporting eight cadet corps. Our Youth & Cadets section highlights meaningful ways young people can get involved in honouring and remembering Canada’s Veterans.
  • Providing bursaries to children of Legion members to help them access university, college, technical, or professional education. Our Bursaries & Scholarships page explains how to apply.

Besides supporting Veterans and youth in our community, we have plenty of social events at Branch 641. Join us for any of our weekly social events or find out how to rent our hall to host your event. We’ve hosted weddings, celebrations of life, baby showers, meetings, and many special birthdays.

Weekly Social Events
