Legion support for Veterans and their families is always free. You do not need to be a Legion member to access these services.
The Royal Canadian Legion offers support for Veterans and their families. We assist with disability claims through Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) and provide programs, resources, and referrals to promote health and well-being, financial stability, and a smooth transition to civilian life.
Legion Service Officers work with current and former members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and the RCMP, and their eligible family members, to help them access VAC disability benefits, programs, and services. Their expertise ensures Veterans get the support and recognition they deserve.
Legion Branch 641 volunteer Service Officers play a vital role. They listen, identify unmet needs, and guide Veterans and their families toward appropriate supports. Additionally, they connect people directly with Command Service Officers (provincial and national levels) for specialized assistance.
If you need help with VAC disability claims, financial support through the Poppy Fund, or finding the right Veteran support programs, Legion Service Officers are ready to assist you.
For information or assistance, please contact our Service Officer at VSO.Barrhaven@rcl641.ca.
