In June 2026, Branch 641 launched the Veteran Memorial Banner Program to honour and recognize Veterans who willingly served, continue to serve, or made the ultimate sacrifice in service to Canada. Their courage, dedication, and sacrifice have helped preserve the freedoms we enjoy today.
Veteran Memorial Banners are mounted in mid-October 2026 on lamp posts from the corner of Malvern Drive and Sherway Drive, past John McCrae High School, to Fable Street, and are removed December 1st. This is an excellent location to honour our Veterans, as the Veteran Memorial Banners will be displayed in front of the Remembrance Memorial at John McCrae High School during the month leading up to Remembrance Day, making them visible to hundreds of students at local schools and to visitors to the Walter Baker Sports Centre.
To purchase a Veteran Memorial Banner, please submit an application.
