Branch 641’s Open Mic started as a small, lively kitchen party hosted by Angel Guy and Barry O’Connor during the height of COVID. It soon became a bi-weekly event with 10 to 20 talented performers, including some Country Music Hall of Famers, and now attracts an enthusiastic crowd of 70 to 100 guests. Don Pelletier organizes the singers and bands and keeps everyone updated about each event.
Both musicians and guests look forward to this fun afternoon. It’s a great way to meet new people, enjoy live music, and experience the welcoming, energetic spirit that makes Branch 641 unique.
The Open Mic also helps raise funds for the branch. Guests pay $5 at the door, while musicians get in free, and everyone can join a 50/50 lottery. Our Hospitality team also serves hot dogs, burgers, grilled cheese, and soup.
