Branch 641 Bursaries
The Royal Canadian Legion proudly supports post-secondary students in need offering bursaries and scholarships to help them achieve their goals in university, college, technical, or professional education. Apprentices may also apply for assistance to purchase tools or instruments.
As part of this commitment, Legion Branch 641 Barrhaven may offer bursaries through the Poppy Trust Fund to the children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of Veterans. These bursaries provide vital financial support to help students pursue their post-secondary education at any stage of their program, making a meaningful difference for Veterans’ families.
Bursary Eligibility
Bursaries may be granted to spouses, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren of any of the following:
- Any person who is serving or who has honourably served in the Canadian Armed Forces;
- Merchant Navy personnel;

- Life Members, Ordinary Members, and Associate Members of the Royal Canadian Legion and Ladies’ Auxiliary.
