For the past five years Royal Canadian Legion Branch 641 Barrhaven has played a leading role with four of our members, to raise 87,000 pairs of socks for the homeless.

It has been a truly compassionate effort that is quite close to our hearts.

As a veteran, I can’t count the number of times that I had cold feet while on deployment or standing guard on exercise.  It makes a world of difference to your well-being when your feet are warm and allows you to better concentrate on the task at hand.

As we pass on our labours to Toasty Toes Ottawa, we wish them every success. Please donate generously by clicking on their logo on this page. Thank you.

We are pleased to announce some new and long-awaited changes at Branch 641!

Effective Friday, August 13, we will extend our Friday night hours and resume our Friday night dinners. For the time being, we will be able to host a maximum of 30 dinner guests. Steak dinners are being offered at a reduced price to reflect that we won’t be offering music or dancing yet, just light background music.

Bar hours daily are noon till 5 p.m. Effective August 13, we will remain open Friday nights until close (to be determined by the number of guests in the branch and as always at our bartenders’ discretion).
